Women In Mission       

Women in Mission shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the ministries of the church.

We are a Christian group of men dedicated to spreading the love of Jesus through action.

We plan lots of activities for the church that help to reach out to the community. 

Please come and join us as we try to become more like Jesus and become fishers of men.

Other missions we participate in:

Helping the community by providing a food pantry (call church office for info)

Participating on the 4th Friday of each month at the community clothes closet in Cartersville

Helping needy children through the Angel tree at Christmas

Feeding people in community when needed

Mentoring at White Elementary

Providing backpacks for school children

Summer lunch program "Feed the Children"

G.R.A.S.P. (Gilmer Repair and Service Project)  Our youth and adult leaders have attended this mission event every summer since 2003.  The youth and the adult leaders do major yard clearing and trimming, repair porches, build ramps, pressure wash the houses and any other need that the clients (who can't do this themselves) require.  It is a team building trip as well as a spiritual journey for all.

The church has a food pantry in the Fellowship Hall and if anyone can donate non-perishable food items for needy families, we would greatly appreciate it.  Also, if anyone knows of a family that needs help with food let them know that they can pick it up on Thursday morning between 9 am and noon.  If another day would be better, they will need to call the church office to make sure someone is there.   All donations are appreciated and you will be greatly blessed.
